- And since it’s not all studying some recreational activities that can be done are the Amazing Race, ECO Trail, Zipline, Hiking, Ukay-ukay, nightlife, Karaoke, Strawberry Fields in La Trinidad, Dancing, Karaoke, Burnham Park Picnic, Boating, a visit to Mines View Park and Good Shepherd, Dinner at a restaurant, and more.
- All participants will be staying and room sharing at The American Institute Baguio facility with beds, bunk beds, and padded mats. Men and women will have separate rooms. You need not worry as the facility is very new and is newly renovated.
- Baguio has a very cold climate, so air conditioning will not be necessary. However, please bring a sheet, a pillow, and a blanket for your comfort. Don’t forget, this is a “camp”, but with a lot more amenities.
- As for the transportation, most students may choose to get to Baguio via public transportation system. Please refer to the schedule of your bus at your bus terminal. You may get off the bus at 39 Marcos Highway (ECC Building) corner Balsigan. If you prefer, you can drop off at the bus terminal, and it will cost you P40 to take a taxi to the American Institute facility. Please arrive by 8:00AM to complete your registration and meet the rest of the participants. The Institute can also offer those in Metro Manila transportation (Manila to Baguio) for only P350 per person.
- Since this is a health camp, you will learn how prepare healthy and delicious meals together and will also be able to sample nutritious meals to be catered by the Institute.
